Awareness Trenchcoat Project

Biodegradable fabric + biodegradable tea bags with soil and flower seeds inside.

The idea behind this is: most people tend to get rid of their clothes after a while. This trenchcoat is made out of 100% cotton biodegradable fabric, so when you outgrow, have new taste in clothes or any other reason you’re not wearing your trenchcoat anymore, you can plant it under the ground.

After a few weeks flowers will start peeking through the ground (I chose flowers, so the bees can pollinate them). The fabric will however take a few months to completely biodegrade. The biodegradable teabags take only a few weeks to dissolve. These methods will make sure that the trenchcoat will not end up on a landfill and there will be no waste left in the ground.

Lingerie Collection

I chose to do my six-month internship at Sunvibes because it was a brand outside of my comfort zone. The brand’s style is completely different from my own, which I saw as a personal challenge. During this internship, I learned that I am able to design from a brand’s perspective, even when it does not resonate with my personal style.

Elisa, the brand owner, was a wonderful mentor who helped me grow both professionally and personally. She taught me a lot about myself and helped me become more confident overall. To this day, I am very grateful for the opportunity to have interned at such a wonderful brand and to have met so many lovely and inspiring people.

Androgynous

Inspired by androgyny, this collection declares that clothes are not made for a specific gender. It's about embracing the freedom to wear what feels right for YOU, without judgement or labels. Who the f*ck cares what anyone else thinks? It's your body and your choice.

With this collection I’m challenging outdated traditions and breaking down the barriers of gendered clothing. I want to create a world where self-expression is celebrated, and individuality is embraced.

Let's make the world a more accepting and open-minded place, where everyone feels free to be themselves. Because who wants to be confined by societal expectations anyway?
